When it comes to Christmas lights, we all have a problem to either get a white tree or a green tree. Well or any other color. But I have come up with a solution for that can help us all, and it a fun diy. First thing first, is pick a tree color that you want in your house. Then you do for the lights. When it comes to tress for me, I always get white trees, the real reason is ( will be another blog post). I always have problems when it comes to light, I could never find the color wired that I needed, or the lights that I need. So What I do, is pick the color tree that I want and pick the lights and decorations that I want and go from there.
So I have come up with a solution that will help you as well as me, with the light problem. What I do is simple and chic and also it very affordable, If you decided to have a white tree this year and you cant find white wired with color lights, green, blue and red lights, what I came up with was a solution, all you need is ribbon, I used glitter silver ribbon, and make you have about 4 to 6 rolls to make sure you have enough, but if you have a bigger tree, then you might need more, despending on the size. What to do is wrapped the ribbon on the wired, make sure you have permanent dot glue pads, they are only a dollar at dollar tree, and also make sure you have the time to do this. It pretty time consuming. so be patient. When you get done wrapping all the ribbon on the wired, looked at the lights to see if you did it correctly and also if you like it. I know I did, when I got finish with mine. There one thing, when you get to the point where you are all done with your light cover, you will see the light bulb itself, then you will see the green or the white wired, then you simply do the same, just make the ribbon a little smaller, just match up the ribbon with the mini lantern, is what my grandma calls it and take some glue and you are all done. The items you would need: 1) Green or white wired lights 2) Ribbons any color you would like 3) hot glue gun and glue sticks 4) or glue dot ( invisible dots)
