We all have our favorite summer must haves. I know I do, especially when it comes to summer, because we all might think our skincare will stay the same, that not unfortunately the case. Foremost, our skin will get blemish, it will get oily, our skin will end up breaking out with acne. I know my skin does. I am not sure about anyone else. When it comes to my skin, I can't use the same products all the time, Because my skin will break out and it get nasty after a while and no I don't like it. My skin will tend to break out and it will get rough. Which is why I have to be careful of which products that I used. I like to go in depth with you all of what products to used when you have sensitive skin. But I will make that to the next blog post, since I do own every beauty product and I can test on my skin. I know that every skin is different, and I will tend to go over with you all about what beauty product is okay to use and what beauty product is not. What is my summer must haves when it comes to my skin. Sometimes I like to keep it simple and also I like to make sure that it easy to apply. Here are my list of Items that I used as my must have for summer for my skin. 1) Olay Fresheffect: To make the acne stay at bay and also to make sure that my skin does not get oily. It will also work as a detox for my skin for the summer, which I like because the skin does need a detox after it been working for so long. 2) Yesto Tomatos Acne whips: I like using this because it even helps out from all the access dirt, oil and even sweat. It even helps out from all the hard work that my skin has to face each day. I like these whips because it whips away any leftovers that got left behind. 3) Oribe Radiant Drops Golden Face Oil: I like using this during the summer months because it helps out my face when my face gets over dry, from the harmful environment and pollution that comes. When I put this on my face, I like how my face starts to glow. It almost feels like I went and got a facial done, but I did not. 4) Max Block Sunscreen: 30 Sport Sunscreen lotion: I like using 30 SPF for my skin, especially for my face, because I like a lot of protection for my face, because wrinkles run deep in my family. So I like to keep my skin looking youthful as possible. 5) Olay Regenerist Cream Cleaner: I like using this product because it also keeps me youthful and I like the fact that it does not make my skin rough, and I even like the fact that it true to the name. It won't over dry, make my skin rough, and also it makes the skin soft. Something that we all can love and need for out skin. 6) Oribe Cote d 'Azur Polishing Body Scrub: When I first got this, I was unsure about using it, because I didn't want to breakout with anything, but when I did start using it, I just fell in love with it. This body scrub will hydrate your skin like you never felt before. It polish the skin, like a wax does. It almost bring your skin back to life, which it something that we all need.

How everyone summer going? Mine, actually going pretty good. I have decided to create a segment that for summer. What is your Favorite Summer Style this season? I know we all have one. It could be multiples or it could be one. It not hard to have multiples. I know I do, like for example, If I live somewhere warm, like California, I think I could rock a bikini top with a Maxi Skirt all day and everyday. Since I don't, I rock Capri and a tink top all day everyday, since I can style it in many ways. Also shorts, since I don't like shorts, I will have to stick with Capri.
Capri are my all time favorite summer style. First thing first, I can style this look in multiple ways that we don't dare to do, it could be because not many people like them, or they just consider them as fitness clothing. I know I don't. For example, after a long day at work, I can simply take off my cardigan and my lacy top and put on a fitness or a more comfortable top and simple just rest on the couch or simply go for a run. So there many ways Capri can be style, and that why I like them. They are comfortable and also I can simply make my own from leggings. So when it comes to your favorite summer style, How would you style it and also what is your favorite summer style. When it comes to your styling, how would you rate it, on a scale of 1 to 10? For my styling I would have to rate it as an 7 or an 8. I am good at it, but sometimes you feel like your styling is not good enough. I know that how I am. What Style will you be whipping up this season as your all time favorite? Please leave them in the comments below. xoxo Alexis As some of you may not know, I am not really a social media fan, because I am not online all the time, well I am, but not on social media, I tend to forget about them. Yes, I know, how can I forget about something that right there in front of me all the time. Well I don't make Social Media a priority. Some say I should, but why. Social Media to me is a drug that can make you get addicted to it and I don't want to be one of those people. But anyways, I am on social media, so if you want to follow me, you can, I hope you do, because I going to be doing a lot of things on social media, yes, I know what I said. I will be using Social media a lot, because I would like to engage with my readers and so my readers can engage with me. Here are my social media outlets for you, which is instagram. www.instagram.com/captivatestyles
Summer has not been so hot this year. Personally, I don't mind it, because I have something that keep me cool and it not to hot. It the only thing that I like to make during the summer, because I don't need no stove or hot to make it. It my Satin Summer Salad that I absolutely love and it smother in Italian dressing that tastes like satin, it smooth, it keeps me cool in the summer. The question is, why must I choose this summer, What so great about it? Why do I think this salad taste so good? Why not give the other salads a chance? To be truthful, I don't just stick to this salad, I try multiples. Sometimes I like to keep my options open, because I don't know what I am missing.
So when it comes to summer, there are so many things that you can do to this salad to make sure you love it on your own. There one thing for sure, I hope you like Italian dressing, because to me it the dressing of summer. When you decide to make this Salad, please used one thing, please make it the way you want to and with the things you love. Not everyone likes the same things, I know I don't, one thing about me, I don't like meat in my salads. I like all veggies. Let me tell you how I created my Satin Summer Salad. 1/2 cup Light Lettuce ( Small Chunks) 1/2 cup Mushrooms ( chopped) 1/2 cup Sugar Snap Peas ( Cut in Half to give you more) 1/2 cup Onions ( chopped) 1/2 cup Tomatoes (dice) 1/2 cup Carrots ( Cut, But I brought it that way) 3 tablespoons of Italian dressing Last but not least, Mixed all of it in a mixing bowl and add your Italian dressing, I want to say 3 tablespoons, but we all are different. So you can put as much is needed. When mixing your ingredients together, just remember, that the 1/2 cups will make a serving of 2 people. So if you are eating for one, try to measure it according to you and what you would eat. (Hint: if you do follow these instructions, just remember you don't have to add the Dressing if you are splitting the salad, for one for lunch and one for dinner, just add as you eat, not before, because it tends to get soggy after it been sitting for to long.) The history behind the Summer Satin Salad is that when you put Italian dressing on it, it looks like satin, soft and it has that shine to it. So I decided to called it Summer Satin Salad. I know the name isn't so that. I decided to called it something that people would never think. I know that we all heard it before, sometimes you wouldn't think of naming a salad that. If you guys would like me to start taking pictures of everything that I do, when it comes to making these types of food, please let me know and I would be happy to. Please let me know in the comments below. xoxo Alexis ![]() When it comes to working out, we all want our music for when we are working out. But sometimes it hard to find music, for us to work out to, because we all want that beat to give us the vibe to work out to and also the feeling that we are working out.
